An official communiqué from the council said that this year, the results are being declared two weeks earlier than usual, due to the introduction of new technique LICR (Live Ink Character Recognition).
This technology captures and digitalises marks entered on the top sheets of answer scripts and instantly encrypts and transfers the captured data to the council’s cloud-based servers directly from the evaluation centres.
The council is the first examination board in the world to introduce this system, said Gerry Arathoon, chief executive and secretary of the council.
The result of the ICSE and ISC 2016 examinations will be made available though the careers portal of council, the website of the council and through SMS. Individual candidates can access the results by logging into the council’s website www.cisce.org and selecting the Results 2016 option.
