Online registration deadline for the Management Aptitude Test or MAT has been extended to May 1. The test opens doors for students to about 600 B-schools, for admission to MBA and allied programmes.
Approved by the HRD ministry as a national level test, MAT scores are considered by B-schools, national or international, as an input for admitting students. Students can register up to 12 midnight, and can click here to go to the registration page. The largest test of its kind in the nation, MAT can be taken in both paper-based and computer formats.
The paper-based test is on May 07 (Sunday) and the computer based one is on May 13 (Saturday) 2017. If the number of candidates registered for Computer Based Test is limited and can be accommodated in a single day; the test will be completed on May 13.
The timing for the paper-based test is 10 am to 12.30. Reporting time at the test centre is 9 am in different time slots at specific test venues. The computer based test will be held in different time slots at specific test venues; subject to number of candidates registering for it.
MAT is conducted four times a year in the months of February, May, September and December. The minimum qualification for appearing in MAT is graduation in any discipline from any recognised University or equivalent recognised degree.
A final year student in any undergraduate (BA, BSc, BCom and BTech) can also appear provisionally.
