96.2% of the total votes were casted to top two candidates. Indian National Congress's Patel Maheshkumar Amrutlal got a total of 91,512 votes, while Bharatiya Janata Party's Prajapati Laljibhai Kanjibhai got 73,919 votes. Nationalist Congress Party's candidate Foshi Shivrambhai Maganbhai grabbed 1,057 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties secured 53.2%, 43.0% and 0.6% respectively.
