98.9% of the total votes were casted to top two candidates. Indian National Congress's Sunder Singh Thakur got a total of 31,423 votes, while Bharatiya Janta Party's Maheshwar Singh got 29,885 votes. Rashtriya Azad Manch's candidate Renuka Dogra grabbed 469 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties secured 50.7%, 48.2% and 0.8% respectively.
