Jasrana is one of the 403 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Constituencies that comes under the Firozabad district. People of Jasrana voted for Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election 2022 on February 20 and the result was declared on March 10.
In 2017, the Jasrana assembly seat had 3,40,477 registered voters. Of the, 1,85,908 were male and 1,54,569 were female voters. 0.6% of votes were casted for NOTA.
In the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Election 2017, Jasrana constituency had 11 candidates for assembly seat contention. Jasrana was one of 312 seats won by the Bharatiya Janata Party. Bharatiya Janata Party's Ramgopal Pappu Lodhi won the election by upstaging Samajwadi Party's Shivpratap Singh by a margin of 20,328 votes.
The top three candidates split 93.1% of votes between them. Bharatiya Janata Party's Ramgopal Pappu Lodhi got a total of 1,03,426 votes, while Samajwadi Party's Shivpratap Singh secured 83,098 votes. Bahujan Samaj Party's candidate Shivraj Singh Yadav grabbed the third spot with 26,274 votes. The top three parties got 45.3%, 36.4% and 11.5% respectively.
In Uttar Pradesh Assembly election 2012, Samajwadi Party's Ramveer Singh defeated Bahujan Samaj Party's Ram Gopal (Pappu Lodhi) by 28,636 votes.
