Bharatiya Janata Party's Jitendra Pal Singh (BILLU) grabbed a total of 72,842 votes, while Samajwadi Party's Ghulam Mohammad got 61,421 votes. Rashtriya Lok Dal's candidate Yashveer Singh bagged 44,710 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties registered 32.5%, 27.4% and 19.9% respectively.
