Dharampur is one of the 70 Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly Constituencies that comes under the Dehradun district. People of Dharampur voted for Uttarakhand Assembly Election 2022 on February 14 and the results will be declared on March 10.

91.6% of votes were split between top 2 candidates. Bharatiya Janata Party's Vinod Chamoli secured a total of 53,828 votes, while Indian National Congress's Dinesh Agarwal got 42,875 votes. Independent candidate Noor Hassan grabbed 4,117 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties got 51.0%, 40.6% and 3.9% respectively.
In Uttarakhand Assembly election 2012, Indian National Congress's Dinesh Agarwal defeated Bharatiya Janata Party's Prakash Suman Dhyani by 9,420 votes.
