Bahujan Samaj Party's candidate Ram Subhag Singh grabbed 3,239 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties secured 55.6%, 38.2% and 4.5% respectively.
In Uttarakhand Assembly election 2012, Indian National Congress's Pardeep Batra outperformed Bharatiya Janata Party's Suresh Chand Jain by 801 votes.
