Recently seen in a web film, actor Priyanshu Singh considers himself lucky that during pandemic too he was never out of work.

“I have been God’s favourite child always. And, that is the reason, I have never been out of work since I landed in this industry. Not just this, I have been doing TV for years now and have done plenty of shows. This way my plate has always been full,” says Tere Sheher Mein, Total Nadaniya and Woh Teri Bhabhi Hai Pagle actor.

He adds, “During the Covid-19 outbreak, I was already part of a show and as that got wrapped, I immediately got another show. Then web-film 14 Phere happened that we extensively shot in Lucknow.”

The young actor has done numerous light-hearted shows as he didn’t want to get into grey zone of stories during his initial days.

“Whatever shows were coming to me they were all fun shows or family dramas and trust me I was enjoying playing those characters. The shows were more or less of the same genre but my characters were absolutely different. I was playing a regular office guy in one, a cop in another, so this way my career was on a roll. At this point of time, I can attempt a negative role but wait till I get a mind-blowing story to be a part of.”

Hailing from Siwan, Bihar, he always wanted to be an actor but never thought of joining any acting school. He preferred to take the theatre route.

The Nimki Mukhiya actor, adds, “Theatre is the best place to learn the nuances of acting. It worked for me and I think the actor in us needs live connect to polish ourselves as performers. So, I took up the theatre route to understand the process of acting and drama making.”

Currently seen in the show Maddam Sir, he is all excited with the response his film is garnering. “My character is of a mischievous youngster who is very attached to his elder brother played by Vikrant Massey. Also, I am happy that the film got a good release in such tough times,” he signs off.
