Priyanka Chopra reacts to claims that she worships the Devil: ‘Horrible’

Priyanka Chopra has refuted theories that she is worshipping Satan to achieve success in her life. Here's how she reacted to the claims recently.

Actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas is one of the most successful actors in the world who has created a niche for herself. In a new podcast, she addressed a conspiracy theory about her success as many believed that she made a pact with Satan to reach the heights of her success. Priyanka entered showbiz after winning the Miss India and subsequently the Miss World crown in 2000. She entered Bollywood a few years later with Hero: Love Story of a Spy. After considerable success in Bollywood, she went global, first with the American TV show Quantico, followed by several Hollywood films. In a recent interview, Priyanka addressed some rumours about her ‘smooth success’.

YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia recently told Priyanka in an interview that he came across a conspiracy theory that she is a ‘Satanic worshipper’, which is the secret behind her success. Responding to it, Priyanka said, “Horrible!" She added, “Shiv ji will be very upset with me."

Priyanka has a handful of international projects such as Love Again, and the series Citadel. Backed by Russo Brothers, Citadel will release on Prime Video. The upcoming sci-fi drama series is being directed by Patrick Morgan and stars Richard Madden alongside Priyanka.

Back in Bollywood, Priyanka, who was last seen in The Sky is Pink, will be starring next in Jee Le Zaraa. The film, which marks Farhan Akhtar's directorial comeback, also features Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt.
