Shah Rukh Khan seeks Amitabh Bachchan's autograph

Now that's showing some respect! The king of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan asked the legend Amitabh Bachchan to sign the poster of Don at a recent event.

Don was origianlly a Big B film which released in 1978 which was directed by Chandra Barot. Needless to say it was a huge hit in its day and has gained a cult status. It's success inspired two Farhan Akhtar-directed SRK-starrer films - Don: The Chase Begins Again (2006) and Don 2: The Chase Continues (2011). This is an interesting moment in Bollywood timeline - the meeting of the two 'dons'!

Amitabh Bachchan posted a picture of him, on Facebook, signing the poster of the original Don while Shah Rukh waits and looks on pateintly. With the picture he added: "ShahRukh asks me to sign a poster of 'DON' for him".

The 70-year-old veteran actor posted another picture of the two of them sharing a light moment before the shoot for a magazine. He said, "Fooling around before the shoot with ShahRukh".

The two baadshahs of Bollywood surely had a good time on the shoot!

According to the latest buzz, American actor-singer Jennifer Lopez will be grooving at the opening ceremony of Indian Premier League 6 (IPL) along with desi stars Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone.

Shah Rukh and Juhi Chawla, the co-owners of IPL 5 champs: Kolkata Knight Riders, will host the ceremony and first game of IPL 6, as per tradition. IPL BUZZ

Women don’t get their due in films: Shah Rukh Khan

After saying that the name of his heroines will appear before his, in the credit role of his films, Shah Rukh Khan, has gone a step ahead and said that he feels that despite working twice as hard as men, women in Bollywood don’t get the kind of recognition that they deserve.


Shah Rukh Khan challenges Salman Khan on his turf

Shah Rukh Khan is all set to challenge arch rival Salman Khan in the latter's territory. Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming film Chennai Express will reportedly be ready for release by Eid - a date that has become synonymous with Salman Khan's releases.

Incidentally, Salman Khan's next Mental is still under production and reports suggest that the movie is not likely to be ready for release this Eid, which falls on August 8. Also, Salman Khan's Sher Khan is most likely not to be released at Eid. SRK-SALMAN TIFF
