Malavika Mohanan shares old pic: 'Throwback to when my mother dressed me up as the flower emoji'

Malavika Mohanan, who has been quite active on Instagram through the lockdown, shared a throwback picture from her childhood. The actor was last seen in Tamil film, Master.

Actor Malavika Mohanan in her latest Instagram post shared a throwback picture in which she’s seen dressed as a flower for a school fancy dress competition. She said her mother thought she’d make an excellent flower and got her dressed as one.

Malavika, who was last seen on screen in Tamil film Master, has been very active on social media during the lockdown.

Sharing the photo, Malavika Mohanan wrote, "#throwback to when my mother dressed me up as the flower emoji for a fancy dress competition #WayAheadOfHerTimes #AmmasGirl." Malavika looks adorable in the pictures, dressed as a flower.

She recently shared a video in which she’s seen frying fish. The actor claimed that she makes the most amazing fish fry. Sharing the video, she wrote it’s her domesticated lockdown version.

In her last outing Master, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Malavika was seen playing a college professor. The film was her second Tamil outing after Rajinikanth’s Petta.

Meanwhile, Malavika will be next seen opposite Dhanush in a yet-untitled Tamil film, which is currently dubbed D 43. Being bankrolled by Sathya Jyothi films, D 43 also stars Smruti Venkat and Samuthirakani among others.

Karthick Naren is directing D 43, which is tipped to be an investigative thriller. The team recently completed the first schedule of shooting.

On completing the first schedule and working alongside Dhanush, Malavika tweeted: “So glad to have met you and worked with you, my fellow Leo co-actor! Will miss your infectious laughter, learning so much from you every day and our mutual love for ‘maggi’ @dhanushkraja Had a blast of a first schedule, and can’t wait to start the second one soon.”
