Lock Upp's Kangana Ranaut slams Kaaranvir for asking Anjali Arora to fake crush on him: 'What about your wife and kids?'

Kangana Ranaut slammed Kaaranvir Bohra after Anjali Arora claimed on Lock Upp that he asked her to fake a crush on him because the audience would love it.

As Kangana Ranaut returned to Lock Upp sets to assess the performance of everyone for The Judgement Day, she slammed Kaaranvir Bohra for trying to build a fake narrative on the show. Anjali Arora had recently revealed to co-contestant Munawar Faruqui that their fellow prisoner Kaaranvir Bohra had told her to fake a crush on him because the audience would love it. In a new promo of the episode due to be aired on Saturday, Kangana was seen questioning Kaaranvir and Anjali over the claims.

Kangana asked Kaaranvir, "Aap pehli baar chargesheet mein aaye, to aapki lagta hai phat gayi. Aapne Anjali ko kaha tha ki ek fake crush mere liye aap dikhaye (You were chargesheeted for the first time, so it seems like you panicked. You asked Anjali to fake a crush on you)."

In his defence, Kaaranvir told Kangana, "Bahar bahut saare shows hote hain (there are many shows). You know how you create a little bit of story, a little bit of fakeness." However, Kangana further slammed the actor and said, "Yaha pe kuch bhi fake nahi hai (there is nothing fake here)."

 

She also grilled Anjali about her claims, saying, "Anjali, kaaranvir ne jo kaha tha, affair banane ke liye, aapne kaafi din sochi samjhi wo baat (Anjali, what Kaaranvir told you, to fake an affair, you considered the offer for several days)." Anjali insisted to Kangana that those were not her intentions. "Mujhe wo chiz nahi accept karni thi (I was never planning on accepting it)," she said.

Kangana also asked Kaaranvir if he considered the feelings of his wife Teejay Sidhu and their children Gia, Raya, and Vienna before making the proposition to Anjali. She said, "Kaaranvir jo aap ye fake narrative shuru karna chah rahe the, kya aapke wife aur baccho ki bhavnao pe kya fark nahi padta? (This fake narrative that you were trying to build, wouldn't it have affected your wife and your children)."

Lock Upp: Badass Jail Atyaachaari Khel, debuted on ALTBalaji and MX Player on February 27, and The Judgement Day episode airs on the weekends.
