The taxis will be driven by women who will have to buy the car. The par ticipating banks will finance the purchase of these customized cabs. The Gurgaon administration has also given a thought about the safety of women drivers and passengers. The administration will help in training women drivers and in getting the driving licence. It will also have a helpline where the woman driver can contact for help. “The nittygritty of the concept are under discussion,” said Gurgaon’s de puty commissioner, TL SatyaPrakash.
