A group of transgender people allegedly beat up two brothers with baseball bats and chased them down a busy Gurgaon road late on Friday after a minor accident triggered a scuffle.
A late-night party at a club on the posh MG Road turned ugly for Delhi resident Prince Singh and his brother when their Maruti Suzuki SX4 sedan was hit by a Swift car driven by one of the two accused, sources said.

The side mirror of the SX4 was damaged in the accident, prompting Prince to caution the accused to drive carefully.
This led to a heated argument between the brothers and the two transgender people. The incident occurred around 1.30 am when the brothers were leaving JMD mall.
The argument gave way to violence as the two accused broke the windscreen of the SX4, hit the two brothers and chased them amid heavy traffic, the police quoted Prince as saying. The 30-year-old Prince and his brother sustained bruises and minor injuries.
“The two accused were transgenders. We have lodged a case against two unknown persons. We are trying to trace them,” Ashok Kumar, station house officer of DLF Sector 29 police station, said.
Police rushed to the spot soon after but the accused drove away.
A case under sections 322 (causing voluntary hurt), 506 (criminal intimidation), 294 (playing obscene songs), 336 (endangering life), 427 (mischief causing damage) among others was lodged against the two accused at 4 am.
