In a bid to create awareness and advocate the use of non-motorised transport, the Rapid Metro organised a walk at the Leisure Valley grounds on Sunday.
Around 1,000 people, including Gurgaon police commissioner Alok Mittal and Rapid Metro MD Sanjiv Rai, film and TV personalities Hussain Kuwajerwala, Gaurav Gera, Sweta Gulati and Shweta Bhardwaj participated in the walk.
The walk was also supported by the Artemis Hospital.
Rai said, “The aim of this walk was to promote a healthy lifestyle among residents of Gurgaon, who otherwise lead a very fast-paced life. People from all walks of life and especially MNC executives participated whole heartedly. We want a congestion and pollution free city.”
