Walking is excellent for health, but talking at the same time may do more harm than good.
A new study says that walking is excellent for health, but talking at the same time may do more harm than good.
The Queensland University study was presented to the Australian Neuroscience Society meeting, which found that talking while walking resulted in conflicting demands on deep abdominal muscles that could threaten spinal stability.

The Daily Telegraph quoted the associate professor Paul Hodges who also added that the abdominal muscles were important for control of the spine.
