About HT Leadership Summit
The Hindustan Times Leadership Summit was launched in 2003 to enhance the level of discourse on critical issues, encourage interaction among leaders in important areas and present international quality thought-platforms aimed at solutions. The last fifteen Summits have been outstanding successes with attendance by leaders from India and across the world. The by-invitation only audience comprises senior politicians, bureaucrats, diplomats, business executives, thinkers, commentators and analysts. Today, the Summit has grown in stature to be counted amongst the most prestigious conferences in India.
The theme of this year's Hindustan Times Leadership Summit is 'Reimagining the Future'.
While the present goes about its chores, unpretentiously, it is also inventing a future that we are yet to encounter but can imagine. The western model of growth seems broken and the narrative of world dominance is being rewritten. India and China are now part of the New World Order. Technology is making our everyday life easier and simpler yet, threatens to become an intrusive presence. Luxury is being redesigned and sewn into newer motifs and textures. Writers are embracing unusual genres. Female sportspersons are not only hotfooting to the podium, but also the 'rich' list.
The future waits and there is an urgent need to reimagine the tomorrows of nearly 8 billion people. The future will not find shape on its own. A blueprint has to be written now. That is what political leaders, business leaders, intellectuals, legends in the field of science, arts, & sports will do at the two-day Hindustan Times Leadership Summit in New Delhi. They will discuss and ideate about 'Reimagining the Future'.
