Delhi HC stays Lokpal proceedings against Shibu Soren in DA case

The Delhi high court on Monday stayed the proceedings against Jharkhand Mukti Morcha Rajya Sabha MP Shibu Soren before the Lokpal in connection to a disproportionate assets (DA) case. Justice Yashwant Varma issued notice to the Lokpal and Bharatiya Janata Party member of Parliament Nishikant Dubey, who is the petitioner in the case. The court has posted the matter for hearing on December 14.

Farmer who spotted tiger carcass in Kerala’s Wayanad found dead; probe ordered

In a tragic incident, a farmer, who had spotted the carcass of a tiger near his home two weeks back, was found dead in Kerala's Wayanad district, police officials said. Police said he was found dead near his residence in Anbukuthmala by his relatives on Thursday morning.
