‘No alliance with topiwallas’: Gujarat BTP leader Vasava stings AAP on alliance

Gujarat's Bharatiya Tribal Party, which has been in an alliance with Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party since May, on Monday signalled the end of the four-month-old partnership, saying that this party did not want to team up with any party that wears saffron or white-coloured caps. Kejriwal, bTP founder Chhotu Vasava and son Mahesh Vasava announced the alliance at an “Adivasi Sankalp Mahasammelan” that they jointly addressed at Bharuch's Chanderiya village on May 1.

Referring to the continued ancient flow of Indian consciousness, PM Narendra Modi said that India is not just a land mass but is an expression of civilisation, culture, harmony and possibilities. Modi said many other civilisations perished as they could not adapt to the changing times, but Indian civilisation has endured for thousands of years.
