Two soldiers drown in Jammu and Kashmir’s Tawi river

They were bathing at the Kawa village near Udhampur Air Force Station, when strong currents swept them away.

Following a search operation by the army, their bodies were recovered on Sunday.

They had gone to take a bath in the river when they drowned, the police said.

They were bathing at the Kawa village near Udhampur Air Force Station, when strong currents swept them away.

The two have been identified as Sepoy Vinod Singh Gujjar, a resident of Jaipur, and Havaldar Anshul Kumar, a resident of Gwalior.
