A police constable was allegedly killed by a woman constable with whom he shared a rented accommodation in Saharanpur.

The woman was arrested on Tuesday after an FIR was lodged against her based on the constable’s brother’s complaint that she killed him, SSP Love Kumar said.

The constable, Lalit Kumar, suddenly fell ill and was taken to a hospital by the woman where he was declared dead, he said.
A post mortem of his body revealed that he was strangulated to death, the SSP said.
The constable and his woman colleague were living in separate rooms of their rented house in Church Compound locality in Saharanpur, Kumar said.
