Cong-CPI(M) tie-up in Kerala?
Congress (S) State President Kadannappally has asked Antony to clear stand on Congress and CPI(M) tie-up in the state.
Having made his remarks that CPI-M was a party that lost relevence in changing times, Kerala Chief Minister AK Antony should clarify whether he would support the Congress move to ally with CPI-M at national level to prevent BJP led NDA from coming to power, Congress (S) State President Ramachandran Kadannappally said on Thursday.
In the wake of Antony's recent remarks (terming CPI-M as a party that lost relevence), the Chief Minister should clarify whether he would oppose the Congress move to forge an alliance with the CPI-M at the national level to prevent BJP led NDA government from coming back to power," Ramachandran told a "meet the press" programme at the Press Club here.
Ramachandran said the Congress would be a disintegrated party after the Lok Sabha polls while the survival of AK Antony government would be at stake in view of the factional feud that would intensify after the polls.
Ramachandran, who campaigns for the CPI-M led Left Democratic Front in Kerala, predicting a landslide victory for the LDF, however, admitted that any situation could emerge in the emerging complex political scenario.
