Coop society inspector caught taking bribe

The Haryana state vigilance bureau has caught Prithvi Singh, inspector, co-operative society, Dabwali in Sirsa district, red-handed while accepting bribe of Rs 18,000 from one Parveen Kumar, a resident of Jandwala Bishnoian village of Sirsa district.

The Haryana state vigilance bureau has caught Prithvi Singh, inspector, co-operative society, Dabwali in Sirsa district, red-handed while accepting bribe of Rs 18,000 from one Parveen Kumar, a resident of Jandwala Bishnoian village of Sirsa district.

A spokesperson for the bureau said in a release on Thursday that Singh had accepted the bribe in lieu of drawl of arrear of Kumar's dearness allowance. A case had been registered against Singh and further investigation into the case was in progress, the spokesperson added.
