DMK patriarch M Karunanidhi on Sunday said his party would be opposed to the food security bill if the government did not incorporate changes as suggested by various parties.

“If the bill is moved with the amendments suggested by various parties, the DMK will support it. If the central government is firm in moving the bill in its existing form without agreeing to any changes then DMK will oppose it,” Karunanidhi said.
