EC orders re-polling in 349 booths of Bihar

The re-polling in 349 booths, which witnessed violence during the first phase of Lok Sabha polls on April 20, would be held on Friday.
The Election Commission on Thursday ordered re-polling in as many as 349 polling stations in Bihar, which witnessed violence during the first phase of Lok Sabha polls on April 20.
The Commission has also ordered re-polling in 49 stations in Jharkhand besides six more polling stations in Manipur, EC sources said.

The re-polling would be held on Friday.
The Commission had already announced re-polling in a total of 283 polling stations spread over nine states, including 117 polling stations in Manipur where polling was marred by large scale disturbances.
