Factors that could affect out come of the race

1) Power rules: Monza is the track on which F1 cars spend more time on full throttle than any other circuit. It helps to have a powerful engine and at the moment that advantage lies with the Mercedes powered teams. 2) Home-track advantage: There is only one team that the spectators at Monza cheer for, the famous scarlet Ferraris. It works as an added motivation for the team to pull out all the stops despite the run of play in the season. 3) Double DRS: The race will feature two DRS zones with two separate activation zones. The hopes are that this will allow a driver passed at the first zone to regain his position at the second. 4) Brake wear: F1 cars doing close to 340 km/h have to slow down to a 100 km/h to negotiate two very slow chicanes. Fifty three laps of such punishment eventually takes its toll on the car’s brakes.
