Maya promises to revive scrapped districts in UP
BSP chief and former chief minister Mayawati said that she would revive all the scrapped districts and divisions fo Uttar Pradesh if voted to power.
Claiming that Mulayam Singh Yadav government in Uttar Pradesh would soon fall, BSP chief and former chief minister Mayawati said on Monday that she would revive all the scrapped districts and divisions if voted to power.
"Yadav government is certain to fall after the Lok Sabha polls and assembly elections would soon be held", she claimed at an election rally here.
Mayawati said if voted back to power in the state she would revive the districts and divisions which were created by her and later scrapped by Yadav government.
She said an electoral understanding with Congress could not fructify for the Lok Sabha polls as the party was had been hobnobbing with the Samajwadi Party as well.
The BSP leader reiterated that the party would not have any alliance with the BJP.
Mayawati said political parties were engaging film personalities for campaigning to attract large gathering at their meetings but these crowds could not be converted into votes.
She also said the CBI had failed to find any evidence against her in the Taj Heritage case.
