SBT entrusted with sale of tickets

The State Bank of Travancore has been entrusted with sale of tickets for first ODI of the India-Pakistan series to be held at Kochi on April 2.

The State Bank of Travancore has been entrusted with sale of tickets for the first one-day international of the India-Pakistan series to be held at Kochi on April 2, Cricket Board Secretary S K Nair said on Saturday.

The sale of tickets would start after March 22 through selected SBT branches across the state, Nair, who is also Kerala Cricket Association President, told PTI.

He said the Jawaharlal Nehru stadium at Kochi, the venue for the match, had a capacity to accommodate 85,000 people.

The ticket charges have been fixed at Rs 5000 for special pavilion, Rs 3000 for special enclosure, Rs 2000, Rs 1000 and Rs 600 for chairs and Rs 200 for gallery. Women, students and cricket club members would be charged Rs 150 for gallery.

Corporate houses could book tickets in bulk, he added.
