Sonia to address rally in Rajasthan next month

Congress president Sonia Gandhi will address a public meeting in Jaipur in September as part of the party's Sandesh Yatra in Rajasthan, state Congress chief Chandrabhan said here today.

"A state-level rally will be held here next month for which we have invited the party president," Chandrabhan said, adding that the dates for the visit by Sonia would be finalised later as per her convenience.

"We will also hold division level meetings in Sept.-Oct. which will be addressed by Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi," Chandrabhan said after a meeting at the PCC office here attended by, among others, Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot.
