BJP national secretary Bandaru Dattatreya told reporters in Chennai that the Supreme Court should transfer the cases in the light of reported remarks by a Madras High Court Judge that he might ask the Chief Justice to transfer cases pertaining to the Sankara Mutt to another judge as he might be blamed if he did not give judgment in favour of Tamil Nadu Government.

"It clearly shows that there is some pressure on the judge. The Supreme Court should take note of it and transfer the cases to another state," he said.

On the US' denial of visa to Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, Dattatryea said it was "totally biased" and BJP would launch a nationwide campaign against the US decision.
