Images of self-styled godwoman Radhe Maa, alias Param Shradhey Shri Radhe Maa, in a miniskirt have been doing the rounds of social media, leading to memes and trolls galore.
Videos from her YouTube account are also doing the rounds, in which she is wearing heavy make-up, jewellery along with bedazzled bridal wear.
According to her official website, Radhe Maa is from Dorangla town in the Gurdaspur district of Punjab. Her father was an officer in the Punjab government.
Recently, an FIR was lodged against Radhe Maa, whose real name is Sukhvinder Kaur, after a woman accused the self-styled godwoman of instigating her in-laws to demand dowry.
Kaur has been booked under relevant sections of IPC and the Dowry Prohibition Act.
"A 32-year-old married woman lodged a complaint against her in-laws as well as Maa, claiming she is being harassed mentally and physically for dowry," said Mukund Pawar, Kandivali police station senior inspector.
However, Kaur has refuted all claims in a statement posted on her Facebook page, saying: "The reports are full of inaccuracies, unsubstantiated allegations, and rumors that have no basis in fact."
Earlier, Dwarkapeeth Shankaracharya Swami Swarupanand Saraswati had also demanded that Radhe Maa be restrained from participating in ceremonial 'Shahi Snan' (royal bath) in the Nashik Kumbh Mela.
"Sadhvi Trikal Bhavanta of 'Pari Akhara', Radhe Maa of Mumbai and Sachhidananda Giri have no right to participate as ascetics in the shahi snan and should take bath as civilians," the Shankaracharya said.
