Software solutions provider, Zensar Technologies Ltd has entered into a five-year partnership with global major Fujitsu Services to jointly enter Europe, Middle East and African markets through a dedicated Global Delivery Centre (GDC) in Pune.

The GDC will leverage Zensar's global offshore delivery experience and process maturity, combined with Fujitsu's domain strengths to offer integrated business solutions to Fujitsu's global customers in the markets, Zensar informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Under the partnership, Zensar would build and operate a dedicated facility for Fujitsu capable of delivering optimal business benefit through technical and business solutions.

The facility would offer end-to-end services including application development, maintenance and support services including migration and testing, remote infrastructure management services, product engineering services, ERP solutions and business process outsourcing services.

The centre is targeted to grow to over 1,000 technical staff over the next three years resulting in revenues in excess of 30 million dollar for Zensar.

The operations would begin with Fujitsu providing support of its internal applications to the GDC in April.

"We are delighted to sign this strategic agreement with Fujitsu which will see us engage with their customers at a strategic business level to transform their IT portfolio and business processes. Our focus is not just great technology, but bottom-line business impact through quality and innovation," company deputy chairman and managing director Ganesh Natarajan said.

The company's shares were trading at Rs 221, up 5.59 per cent at the BSE.
