Other than cricket in India, if there’s any game that needs no introduction then that would be antakshari. Not only is it popular in our country, but it’s also one of the most sought-after games in the sub-continent. And those who feel that they have an upper hand in this game, are in for a treat, as Fever 104 FM presents, Fever Antakshari — a first of its kind initiative where the game will be played on a radio channel.
“For ages, antakshari has been one of the favourite pastimes for everyone in our country. As the city’s leading station, we felt that it has all the ingredients to make for a great game show on radio,” says RJ (Khurafati) Nitin.
The campaign provides a platform for music lovers, who until now have been competing against family and friends, to battle it out against Delhi’s best. So, antakshari fans can gear up, as the two-week long initiative, which kicked off on Monday, has lots to offer. The winners will be decided by the process of elimination and every evening, one grand winner will be announced on RJ Nitin’s show.
More than 1000 participants have already registered for the game and those who haven’t, can enroll themselves by simply sending a SMS, FEVER<space>your name to 54242.
