The UP Police have urged parents to keep a watch on their children and advise them against taking up the ‘Kiki Dance Challenge’ that is spreading fast among youngsters.

The police advisory aims to make people aware of the dangers of the dance challenge. The warning comes in the wake of numerous reports of people endangering their lives while doing the ‘Kiki Dance Challenge’.

“Dear Parents, whether Kiki loves your child or not, we are sure you do! So please stand by your kids in all the challenges in life except #kikichallenge,” reads the UP police tweet, which also shows a female dancing along a moving vehicle.

The ‘challenge’ requires a person to leap out of a moving vehicle and dance on the beat of the song “In my feelings…”. It has gone viral online with several people, including celebrities posting their videos while doing the challenge.

Similar warning has also been issued by police in other parts of the country. Taking a stricter approach, the challenge has been banned in Spain, UAE and Egypt.
