Acting on the builder’s tip-off, Mumbai police nabbed the accused the next day
A cook working for a builder in Juhu was held for allegedly sodomising and sexually harassing his co-worker’s 16-year-old son on Tuesday. Police nabbed him the next day, acting on a tip-off from the builder.
Police said the 38-year-old cook had sexually assaulted the boy between 12.30 am and 2.09 am. The minor will undergo a medical test.

Police registered a case under section 377 (unnatural offences), penetrative sexual assault and harassment charges under section 4, 8 and 12 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.
The cook was produced before a sessions court and remanded in police custody till August 14.
