GRP officials, who believe the accused is a drug addict, said the city police have formed two teams to look into the incident. Investigators have prepared a sketch of the attacker based on Mark’s description.

“We scanned CCTV footage, but the space where the compartment was at was a blind spot,” said Eknath Jadhav, senior inspector, Churchgate GRP.

Officials have not been able to track down the attacker through the victim’s iPhone, which he stole, as it is switched off.
