Srishti, who hails from Noida, had finished her secondary and higher secondary education from Lotus Valley International School.

Although she pursued humanities in class 12, she made it clear then itself that modelling was her sole passion.

After class 12, she moved to London, along with her parents, to pursue a career in modelling and took admission at the London School of Modelling.

Her dreams came true on Wednesday when she was crowned Miss Teen Universe 2017.

Her teachers could not feel more proud that Srishti had finally achieved what she had always desired.

“It was always clear from the beginning that she wanted to become a super model. Her manner of talking, gait and her pretty face were all clear indications and, today, we are pleased to hear the news of her achievement on an international stage,” said Kavita Malik, economics teacher at Lotus Valley International School.

Srishti stunned the world with her face, sophistication and stunning attire at the beauty pageant. However, beneath all that glitz and glamour is a simple and cheerful girl, her teachers claimed.

“The most striking aspect of her was not her face but her beautiful nature. She was polite and humble with teachers, staff and fellow mates. I used to meet her several times a day and she used to wish me in the same cheerful manner,” Malik recalled.

Other teachers also remember Srishti as a vivacious and chirpy girl who was too polite to say no to people.

“Srishti is an extremely sweet and caring person. She never said no to any task given to her. To win an international beauty pageant, a pretty face is not the only requisite; you also need to be intelligent, confident and impressive. Srishti had all the attributes,” said Shanu Gupta, mathematics teacher at Lotus Valley International School.

Teachers also said Srishti was a talented student who was ahead in extra-curricular activities.

“Whenever there was a dance and music show or competition among schools, we were sure that Srishti will be participating. She used to take part in all extra-curricular activities and always brought laurels to the school,” Malik said.
