The 17th edition of the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit, at Taj Palace in New Delhi resumed after a break following the first half where speakers like PM Narendra Modi, Kumar Mangalam Birla, Cdr Abhilash Tomy and Netflix founder Reed Hastings covered a broad range of topics across disciplines. The theme for this year’s thought conclave is “Conversations for a better tomorrow”. The second half saw conversations by international chef Heston Blumenthal, champion swimmer Michael Phelps and actors Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor Khan.

“We should cook food with love, gratitude and connection,” chef Blumenthal said. “The most intimate relationship humans have with is with their body and breath, then it’s water and then comes food. So, they have relationships with breathing, water and food,” said the celebrity chef.
