Photos: A weakening Cyclone Nisarga leaves Mumbai with heavy rains
A day after hitting the coast of Maharashtra, Cyclone Nisarga which has claimed at least 4 lives, stepped down a notch and turned into deep depression as it headed towards Madhya Pradesh. Sparing Mumbai much of the destruction that had been anticipated ahead of landfall, the western regions of Maharashtra recorded uprooted trees and limited damage to infrastructure. Mumbai did however; continue to residual effects of Nisraga well into this afternoon with heavy rains and waterlogging across the city.
