Photos: Maharashtra to review ‘Mission Begin Again’; cases cross 1 lakh

As India is now the fourth most COVID19 affected country in the world, the number of cases in Maharashtra is inching closer to the one lakh-mark. Even though the state government extended the lockdown to 30th June, relaxations under “Mission Begin Again” has allowd people to access nearby gardens and neighbourhoods, allowed inter-district movement in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, and private vehicles and BEST buses were allowed back on the roads, in phases. However, due to crowds in open spaces and non-adherence to social distancing norms, Maharashtra government is set to review the relaxation rules the state continues to be the worst-affected in the country with 97, 648 positive cases.
