MI won the toss and chose to bowl first. CSK sent out Ajinkya Rahane to open the innings with Rachin Ravindra instead of Ruturaj Gaikwad. The experiment didn't last long with Rahane being dismissed in the second over but Gaikwad gave CSK a good start. (PTI)
