The accused have been identified as Gurmail Singh, Dr Jhanda Singh, Hardeep Sharma and Sukhminder Singh.

SHO Subegh Singh said that the victim had alleged that she was taken to Jhanda's clinic on Tuesday by Gurmail, on the pretext of offering her a job as peon.

At the clinic, Gurmail allegedly threatened her at gunpoint and both he and Jhanda took turns to rape her.

"The other two accused, Hardeep and Sukhminder, stood guard at the clinic gate," the police claimed.

A medical examination of the victim has confirmed rape.
