The court of duty magistrate Gurpreet Singh on Sunday sent Khalistan terrorist Jagtar Singh Tara in the judicial custody at Nabha central jail in Patiala whereas one of his accomplices Amarjit Singh was remanded in two-day police custody.

Amarjit was arrested after his name was revealed by Tara during interrogation to the police.

Amarjit had reportedly supplied money to Babbar Khalsa terrorist Ramandeep Singh alias Sunny, who was arrested by the district police in November last year and is in judicial custody.

Tara was brought by the district police on transit remand from Phillaur to interrogate him in connection with links between him and Sunny.
