Market committee notified for Fatehgarh Panjtoor in Moga
At last, the Punjab government has notified a market committee at Fatehgarh Panjtoor town in the district after hearing all objections in this regard. It may be mentioned here that the people of the area had been demanding a market committee for the region for the past five years.

Disclosing this here on Saturday, agriculture minister jathedar Tota Singh, who is also local MLA, said here on Saturday, said as per the state government notification, the committee will comprise a total number of 17 members.
"Some villages from the Kot-Ise-Khan market committee have been taken out and brought under the control of the new market committee for sale, purchase, storage and processing of products," he said.
The Akali leader said that, "I had approached chief minister Parkash Singh Badal and presented the demand of the people of Fatehgarh Panjtoor. I feel happy that the demand of the people has been fulfilled."
Tota Singh said that villages, which have been brought under the control of the Fatehgarh Panjtoor market committee include Fatehgarh Panjtoor, Maujewala, Khera Droli,Rao Wala, Mealak Kanga, Kambo Kalan, Kambo Khurd, Maelak Akalian, Fate Ulla, Sahawala, Danewala, Mundi Jamal, Goluwala, Lalhandi, Bahadur Wala, Saide Sah Wala, Mahi Wala, Madarpur, Sanghera, Kahnewala, Takhtu Wala, Jania, Jaspur, Khamba, Nawan Chotian, Boghewala, Bandal Jania, Krahwala, Dholewala, Mehruwala, Jhugian, Kania Kahas, Dhaem Singh Wala, Killi, Gandhra, Ramgarh, Raja Wala, Mandar, Kadrwala, Tota Singh Wala, Bhaini, Sadi Wala, Kishanpura Saaid, Saaid Muhamad and Chirangsahwala.
"All the required staff has been provided for the new office of committee. The post of the accountant was vacant but we have sent an official as per government norms," Tota Singh added.
