Medical body backs PMRA on Alembic issue
The Indian Medical Association (IMA) has lent support to the Punjab Medical Representative Association (PMRA) on Alembic Pharma issue and condemned the practices of Alembic Pharama management of using bouncers while dealing with doctors.

A delegation of PMRA with state president Sandeep Singh Sohi met the office-bearers of IMA on Tuesday. The delegation explained the situation created by Alembic Pharma in the noble profession of medical where general patients come for their treatment. Sohi said Alembic Pharma had been working with bouncers in the city hospitals, OPD and doctor’s clinic. The presence of such muscleman and bouncers created bad image of the company. Sohi said IMA condemned the act of pharama company and said that it would not entertain the alembic managers in their premises.
