"With only purpose to keep their alliance partners happy, government should not have right to put legitimate rights of Punjabi farmers community at large", she said.

Preneet claimed that she had also wrote letter to State government on June 19 and briefed them about autocratic attitude of Modi against 500 farmers despite farmers had been given relief by Gujarat High Court.

"The state government is not at all serious about the issue. Had it been, they should instantly take up matter with their counterpart in Gujarat", she said.

On the other hand, on his short visit to pay obeisance in Mandir in village Ranike in Sangrur Distrcit, Deputy Chief minister Sukhbir Singh Badal said state government has been serious about the issue of dislodgment of sikh farmers.

"Chief Minister Prakash Singh Badal will soon take up the matter with Narender Modi over the issue. The government ensures that proper justice will be delivered to Gujarat sikh farmers", Sukhbir said.

Meanwhile, Representatives of farmers from 16 states under banner of Consortium of Indian Farmers Associations will take up the matter with centre government in order to carry out talks with to Modi and BJP chief Nitin Gadkari.
