Sonam, a student of government school in Kurar village, was allegedly beaten up in front of the entire class by her teacher Parmod on Tuesday. The girl, who received injuries on her head, has been admitted to the Khanpur Kalan government women medical college .
“When she came back home, we saw injuries on her head. Her mother also noticed some bleeding from her private parts. She narrated the whole incident to us and we immediately rushed her to the hospital,” said Sonam’s father Jaswant.
Sonam condition is now stable. Dr Saroj, who is treating Sonam, said there were some internal injuries on the private parts of the girl. She, however, denied any sexual assault.
Investigation officer Surender Singh told that the girl’s family had filed a complaint against the teacher, but later withdrew it saying they had resolved the matter mutually.
