A look-out circular has been issued for the trio. However, there are apprehensions that the accused might have escaped.
One of the accused, Gaganteshwar Singg, reportedly belongs to a wealthy influential family. He is accused of acting as an agent in the scam and used his links with wealthy individuals to lure them into buying a premium vehicle number.
Raman and Baljit reportedly produced fake documents to facilitate the issuing of fancy numbers and were in the loop with the DTO.
