‘Action King’ Arjun to lock horns with Sasikumar in Kodi Veeran?

Arjun will soon be seen as a villain in Sasikumar’s new film Kodi Veeran, said to be a relationship-based rural drama. It will also star Aishwarya Rajesh.

‘Action King’ Arjun is in talks to play the role of villain in actor-director Sasikumar’s forthcoming rural drama Kodi Veeran with director Muthaiah, who is known helming relationship-based village dramas such as Komban, Marudhu and Kutti Puli.

Arjun is currently shooting for Vishal-Samantha’s Irumbu Thirai.

Sources say Arjun has already given his in-principle nod to the project, which revolves around brother-sister relationship. The team has approached Aishwarya Rajesh to play the role of Sasikumar’s sister and Hansika Motwani to essay his love interest. Arjun is also currently shooting for Vishal - Samantha’s Irumbu Thirai, where he plays the baddie.

“This was the story Muthiah earlier narrated to Suriya before he signed on Vignesh Shivan’s Thaanaa Serndha Koottam. Now, he’s doing the same film with Sasikumar, marking his second collaboration with the Subramaniyapuram actor after Kutti Puli,” informs a source to HT.
